100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
At Winaid, your satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to working with you to ensure that your CV and Cover Letter accurately represent your skills, experience, and career goals.
To help us deliver the best possible results, please note the following:
- Please allow one (1) working day for each requested round of revisions or alterations to your CV or Cover Letter.
- If you intend to use your CV and Cover Letter for a specific job application, please allow sufficient time before the application deadline to enable us to complete any requested revisions and finalise your documents to your satisfaction.
- To ensure we can meet our standard turnaround times, please submit your completed Order Form, current CV (if available), and all relevant supporting information at least 48 hours before the closing date of any job application for which you intend to use your CV package.
- It is your responsibility to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information, together with any industry-specific requirements or supporting documentation needed to prepare or revise your CV.
- To avoid formatting or version control issues, please do not edit the draft documents yourself while they are undergoing the revision process. Instead, provide your requested changes to Winaid, and we will make the revisions on your behalf.

Failure to Comply with These Terms
Winaid's 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee applies only to the original CV package commissioned and is valid throughout the drafting, review, and revision process, up to the point where you provide final approval of your CV and, where applicable, your Cover Letter.

Cancellation of Your Order
Winaid understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we aim to provide a fair and reasonable cancellation policy that balances the interests of both our clients and our business.
Our cancellation policy takes into account the administrative work, scheduling of consultants, research undertaken, and preparation completed in relation to your order.
You may cancel your order by providing written notice to Winaid, provided that work on your CV package has not yet commenced. Where cancellation is requested after work has begun, Winaid reserves the right to retain or charge a reasonable amount to cover administration, research, consultation time, and any work already completed.
Any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy and, where applicable, South African consumer legislation.
If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible by email so that we can assess the status of your order and advise you of any applicable charges or refund.
Cancellation Process
If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify Winaid in writing by email within three (3) hours of placing your order, provided that work on your CV package has not yet commenced.
If your cancellation request is received within this period and no work has begun, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days.
If work has already commenced or your cancellation request is received after the initial three-hour period, the following cancellation policy will apply:
Before the first CV draft has been delivered: You may be eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid, depending on the work completed. Any approved refund will be processed within 30 days.
After the first CV draft has been delivered: No refund will be payable, as the professional services commissioned will have been substantially completed.
This cancellation policy reflects the time, research, consultation, and professional work undertaken in preparing your CV package.
If you have any questions regarding the status of your order or wish to request a cancellation, please contact Winaid as soon as possible by email.
Using a Compatible Microsoft Word Version
Your draft CV and, where applicable, your Cover Letter will be supplied in Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF formats.
To ensure that your documents display correctly and retain their professional formatting, we recommend viewing and editing the Microsoft Word versions using Microsoft Word 2016 or later on a Windows PC or laptop.
Please note that older versions of Microsoft Word, alternative word-processing software, mobile devices, and online document viewers may not fully support all formatting features. As a result, fonts, spacing, tables, page layouts, or other design elements may not display correctly.
Editing your CV using incompatible software or outdated versions of Microsoft Word may also affect the formatting and appearance of your document when it is viewed by recruiters or employers. Unfortunately, these compatibility issues are beyond Winaid's control.
To preserve the professional appearance of your documents, we recommend the following:
- View and edit the Microsoft Word (.docx) version using Microsoft Word 2016 or later.
- Use the PDF version when submitting your CV and Cover Letter to employers whenever possible, as PDF files preserve the original formatting across different devices and operating systems.
- If an employer specifically requests a Microsoft Word version, ensure that any edits are made using a compatible version of Microsoft Word before submitting the document.
Winaid cannot be held responsible for formatting changes or compatibility issues resulting from the use of outdated software, unsupported applications, or modifications made after the documents have been delivered.
Communication with Winaid
To provide the highest level of service and ensure clear, accurate communication, Winaid prefers to communicate with clients via email and WhatsApp.
Given the nature of our business and the number of CV projects we manage, written communication enables us to clearly discuss your requirements, provide detailed recommendations, and maintain an accurate record of all correspondence. This significantly reduces the possibility of misunderstandings and ensures that both parties have a written reference throughout the development of your CV package.
Our virtual communication model also allows us to efficiently assist clients throughout South Africa, regardless of their location, while keeping our services affordable by eliminating unnecessary consultation and travel costs.
For these reasons, Winaid may, at its sole discretion, limit or decline communication by telephone and instead request that all enquiries, instructions, and revision requests be submitted by email or WhatsApp.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as this communication process enables us to deliver a more efficient, accurate, and professional service.
Review and Revision of Draft Documents
Once you receive your drafted CV and, where applicable, your Cover Letter, please confirm receipt by email and review the documents carefully.
If you require any amendments, kindly submit your revision requests within one (1) working day of receiving your draft. Your CV package includes up to two complimentary revision rounds, with one working day allocated for each round of revisions.
To help us deliver the best possible final product, please provide clear and detailed feedback outlining any changes you would like us to make. This enables us to accurately address your requirements and complete the revisions efficiently.
Once you have approved the final draft of your CV package, the project will be considered complete. Any additional amendments, updates, or changes requested after final approval may be subject to additional charges.
Failure to Respond
If you do not confirm receipt of your draft documents or submit any revision requests within two (2) working days of the date they were emailed to you, and we do not receive any communication from you, Winaid will reasonably assume that you are satisfied with the documents as submitted.
In these circumstances, your CV package will be regarded as approved, completed, and closed. Any future requests for amendments or updates after the project has been closed may be treated as a new service and may incur additional charges.
If you require more time to review your documents, please let us know before the review period expires. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.
Additional Charges
The quoted price covers the services and revisions included in your selected CV package.
Additional charges may apply under the following circumstances:
- Additional Revisions: Your package includes up to two complimentary revision rounds. Should you request further revisions after these have been completed, a new quotation will be provided before any additional work commences.
- New CV Versions: If you require additional versions of your CV or Cover Letter after the final draft has been approved and the project has been completed, a separate quotation will be issued.
- Different Career Objectives: If, after your CV has been completed, you decide to target a different job role, industry, profession, or employment sector from the one originally specified, this will be treated as a new assignment and a separate quotation will be provided.
- Delayed Feedback: If Winaid does not receive confirmation of receipt or any revision requests within two (2) working days of emailing your draft CV and Cover Letter, and no alternative arrangements have been agreed upon, we will reasonably assume that you are satisfied with the documents as submitted. Your order will then be considered approved, completed, and closed. Any subsequent requests for amendments, updates, or revisions after the project has been closed may be treated as a new service and will be quoted separately.
Winaid will always advise you of any additional costs and obtain your approval before undertaking any work that falls outside the scope of your original order.
Electronic Copies of Documents
Winaid takes reasonable precautions to ensure that all electronic documents and email attachments are scanned for viruses and other malicious software before they are sent to clients. However, no electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely free from viruses, malware, or other security threats.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your computer, laptop, mobile device, and email system are adequately protected with up-to-date antivirus software, firewalls, and appropriate security measures before opening any electronic files received from Winaid.
Your CV package will be supplied in Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF formats. While we make every effort to ensure our documents are compatible with current software, Winaid cannot be held responsible for formatting, display, or compatibility issues resulting from:
- Outdated versions of Microsoft Word or other word-processing software.
- Unsupported operating systems or devices.
- Modifications made to the documents after delivery.
- Software or hardware issues on your computer or device.
For the best experience, we recommend viewing and editing the Microsoft Word version using Microsoft Word 2016 or later and using the PDF version when submitting your documents to prospective employers.
Delivery
Work on your CV package will commence only once Winaid has received:
- Your completed Order Form.
- All required supporting documents and information.
- Full payment that has been received, verified, and cleared.
Our quoted turnaround times begin only after all of the above requirements have been met.
Once your order is confirmed and all required information has been received, Winaid will prepare and deliver the first draft of your professionally written CV and, where applicable, your Cover Letter within two (2) working days for your review and approval.
Following your review, any requested revisions included in your selected package will be completed within the agreed turnaround time. Once you have approved the final draft, your completed CV package will be delivered by email in both Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF formats.
If unforeseen circumstances arise that may affect the agreed delivery timeframe, Winaid will notify you promptly and provide an updated estimated delivery date.
